  • Fall Picks from Via Spiga

Via Spiga is a good choice for a mid-range shoe.  They have the nice details like real leather lining and leather soles and their designs are excellent, on-trend but still somehow classic.

Here are a few picks for Fall:

Essex Ankle Boots, $275.  They look like lace-ups but they actually zipper up the inner sides.  They have a 3/4″ platform and 4″ stacked heel.

Elora Snake Embossed Pumps, $225.  These were featured in the ad pages of several of the big September issues.  It’s a very classic cut with peep toes, platforms and nicely shaped stacked heels.

Clogs have been popular for a while.  These have nice styling with leather tassels and super high 5″ wood heels.  Allston Clogs, regular $185, now on sale $99!

This organic cotton tote bag from Ralph Lauren features the iconic Big Pony in pink and 100% of the net proceeds from sales of the bag will be donated to the Pink Pony Fund to support cancer programs (for screening, early diagnosis, treatment and research).

I’m always carrying around an extra bag, so why not get one that’s cute and supports a good cause!  And, it’s only $10 – a total win/win!

  • Fly Away with Fresh Travel Sizes

I’m a big fan of Fresh products, while a bit pricey, they are super high quality and all smell so wonderful!  I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Fresh product that I didn’t like.  They’ve come out with a great travel size skincare kit featuring their soy products.  It makes it so easy to pack, just grab and go!

    Soy Skincare Set, $38

It contains Soy Face Cleanser, Soy Face Exfoliant, Soy Face Serum and Soy Face Cream.  They’re all packed in a sleek little white zippered case.

They’ve also come out with a travel size of their Citron de Vigne fragrance in a convenient roller ball format.  This is great because fragrance is really difficult to travel with – - really, who hasn’t worried about their bottle breaking and having all your clothes perfume soaked!

Citron de Vigne Eau de Parfum Rollerball, $18.50.  If you’re not familiar with this fragrance, it has top notes of neroli, bitter orange and pink grapefruit; middle notes of Fresh’s pinot noir accord, jasmine tea leaves and lemongrass; and base notes: patchouli, sandalwood and amber.

There’s a special offer available now through the end of the day 9/24… with a $100 purchase and code CITRON at checkout you get free travel sizes of Citron de Vigne shower & bath gel and body lotion!

  • High Style for your iPad

The accessory du jour seems to be an iPad (from $499), so why not get a really cool case for it and make it super-fashionable?

Gucci has this iPad Case with Signature Web Detail, $230

Vuitton has one in the classic monogram.  It is not available on their website yet, but it should be soon.  It will be about $365.

This one is super affordable and has a slightly Gucci-esque look thanks to the webbing across he front.  Acase Leather Flip Cover Case, $25.95.  It is also more functional than just a sleeve since you can stand up the iPad like an easel with it.

Some evenings just call for a really tiny bag and Yves Saint Laurent has a perfect option… and at $355 it’s a reasonable way to get your Yves fix (you know, if you can’t afford those amazing $760 strappy sandals)

  • Happy Fashion’s Night Out

Well, it’s finally here: Fashion’s Night Out in NYC and many other cities…  So whetever you’re doing, have fun!

Chanel will premier their new nail colours at the SoHo store.

It’s a good purchase if you don’t want to spend a lot!  You can also buy them online here, $25,  if you’re not in New York!

If you do want to spend a lot, then Chanel’s Design Your Own Ballet Flat is brilliant (57th Street).  It is my understanding that they’ll be around $695.

  • Fall Trends: Heeled Oxfords

Last season flat oxfords were all the rage, with the likes of Sienna Miller wearing them with everything from little skirts to skinny jeans.

It’s no wonder that they’d come around again with heels.

Here are J. Crew’s Langford Platform High Heel Oxfords, $275.  They’ve got a 3-3/4″ heel with a 3/8″ platform.  They’re made in Italy too!

Cole Haan’s version has Nike Air technology built in for extra comfort.  Cole Haan Air Violet Oxford Pump, $298.  They have 3-1/2″ heels.
