Well, it’s finally here: Fashion’s Night Out in NYC and many other cities… So whetever you’re doing, have fun!
Chanel will premier their new nail colours at the SoHo store.
It’s a good purchase if you don’t want to spend a lot! You can also buy them online here, $25, if you’re not in New York!
If you do want to spend a lot, then Chanel’s Design Your Own Ballet Flat is brilliant (57th Street). It is my understanding that they’ll be around $695.

This fabulous Chanel nail color “Particuliere” is back in stock. It’ is a dark taupe shade with a dash of mauve tone in it. I got this color a couple of months ago, I got one of the last bottles (at the time) at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street. I love it on my toenails (since I have very fair skin I prefer really light colors on my fingernails). It’s $23 at Chanel.com, you can purchase it here. Sure, $23 is a lot for a nail polish, but the bottle is so elegant and Chanel colors are always the best so it’s a good splurge, n’ est pas?
Courteney Cox is wearing this color nail polish in her InStyle magazine photo shoot for August 2010.

Exclusively at Chanel.com, Chanel is giving an early preview of their new Inimitable Intense collection: Ombres Contraste Duo and Inimitable Intense Mascara.
The Ombres Contraste Duo is a foolproof pairing of complementary shades — in two unique textures — housed in one convenient compact. The softly shimmering light shade is a creamy powder, which can be worn alone for a luminous effect, or as a base to extend the wear of the accompanying deep-toned shadow. The dark shade has intense micronized pigments for true colour application, and a matte finish to create depth and contour. Two applicators are included: a foam-tip to apply the shadows and a brush to blend. Available in six essential shade harmonies designed to take the guesswork out of harmonizing and applying eyeshadow. The preview shade duo is: Gris – Subtil. ($42) The five other shades will be released soon. I am anxious to see them because I think the gris-subtil is a bit too dark for me.
The Inimitable Intense Mascara offers a technologically advanced formula that builds on the success of the original mascara, delivering dramatic effects with a unique brush. The result is a more intense lash look, with the same easy application. Lashes appear longer, thicker and more curled, yet each lash, even the finest, is still precisely separated – without clumping, spiking or flaking. The preview shade is: noir. ($30)
