I’m a big fan of Fresh products, while a bit pricey, they are super high quality and all smell so wonderful! I don’t think I’ve ever tried a Fresh product that I didn’t like. They’ve come out with a great travel size skincare kit featuring their soy products. It makes it so easy to pack, just grab and go!
Soy Skincare Set, $38
It contains Soy Face Cleanser, Soy Face Exfoliant, Soy Face Serum and Soy Face Cream. They’re all packed in a sleek little white zippered case.
They’ve also come out with a travel size of their Citron de Vigne fragrance in a convenient roller ball format. This is great because fragrance is really difficult to travel with – - really, who hasn’t worried about their bottle breaking and having all your clothes perfume soaked!
Citron de Vigne Eau de Parfum Rollerball, $18.50. If you’re not familiar with this fragrance, it has top notes of neroli, bitter orange and pink grapefruit; middle notes of Fresh’s pinot noir accord, jasmine tea leaves and lemongrass; and base notes: patchouli, sandalwood and amber.
There’s a special offer available now through the end of the day 9/24… with a $100 purchase and code CITRON at checkout you get free travel sizes of Citron de Vigne shower & bath gel and body lotion!

I kind of hate traveling now since I have to check my bag so I can bring my boatload of skincare products. So I was really happy to run across 3FLOZ.com a website that specializes in mini sizes (TSA approved). They carry some good premium brands: Dr. Hauschka, DDF, Malin + Goetz, Molton Brown, Phyto, and more. And you don’t even have to worry about the sizes, because everything they sell is in a TSA approved size.
I’m most picky about what I put on my face. They have a few great kits that make it easy to have everything ready to go!
Ole Henriksen Starter Kit, $68. It includes a cleanser, face tonic, day creme with spf, night cream, a mask and a scrub… talk about complete, that’s everything you need!
Dr. Hauschka Daily Face Care Kit, $30. It comes with cleansing cream, cleansing milk, toner, 3 types of day cream.
The Malin + Goetz Essential Kit, $30 is good because it contains of couple of skincare items and hair and body items. If you can get away with just a couple of products for your face, it’s great. It has face cleanser, face moisturizer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
If you want a kit just for your hair, the Ted Gibson Travel Essentials, $25 comes with shampoo, conditioner, hair spray and hair styling sheets.
Or, if you want to make up your own kit, mixing different brands and products you can buy individual items that are sold separately and customize your own travel kit! The two founders of the company reveal their favorite products and you can buy those as kits too: Alexi’s Kit, $200 and Kate’s Kit, $81.
Oh, and these are brilliant even when you’re not traveling: Herban Essentials Hand Sanitizing Towelettes, $15 for a packet of 20.
Here’s to some good summer travels!

Caudalie is offering their Friends and Family discount to everyone! Hurry though, the offer ends today. 20% off, use code BFF at checkout. Also, orders over $50 get free shipping and all orders get free samples. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Caudalie, it was created by the owners of Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux focusing on using the beneficial grape seed polyphenols from their grapes in skin care products. They have a fabulous spa at the Chateau that makes visiting even better (as if the wine tasting wasn’t great enough…)
These are my favorites from Caudalie:
Gentle Cleanser, $26 (with discount $20.80). This is a velvety cleanser that smells wonderful and doesn’t leave your skin feeling stripped.
Beauty Elixir, $46 (with discount $36.80). They say this is inspired by Queen Isabella of Hungary’s “Elixir of Youth”. It basically looks like water with some essential oils floating on top, you shake it and spray it on your face. It is the most refreshing feeling and I love the smell.
Eye and Lip Cream, $49 (with discount $39.20). You can easily spend a small fortune on eye creams these days. I like this one because it’ s reasonably priced but works and is loaded with great natural ingredients.
Pulpe Vitaminée 1st Wrinkle Cream, $58 (with discount $46.40). I mix up my routine sometimes by using this instead of my old faithful Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid Moisturizer. Like most Caudalie products, it smells so good – - and contains great things like royal jelly, ginseng and ginger.
Vinoperfect Night Correcting Cream, $68 (with discount 54.40). This is to help fade discolorations (you know, those dreaded “dark spots” a particular menace to the very fair skinned). I can’t say that it really makes them disappear, but I wake up with great looking skin (perhaps a bit more even), so I like it!
